Quick links today, as I'm moving and I just can't wait to start. All that exercise, the camaraderie, endorphins pumpin' ... boy, if there's any thing better than moving, I'd like to hear about it.
So, anyone free over the next couple days? Specifically, anyone with a truck?

Jeopardy! Declares War On Barry Bonds
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Canadians are generally bad people, and they don't fool me one bit. They weaponized Bryan Adams and turned him into Chad Kroeger, and now Alex Trebek is giving Barry Bonds the business. Unacceptable.
I wonder if Canadians are tired of Americans thinking it's funny to bring up their awful musicians because they're out of original jokes. I'll have to look into that. America's hat! Maple syrup! Rush!

I would love to run into Barry Bonds | Jeff Pearlman
I've met a few writers in my day, and most of them have been very, very nice and cordial. I've been starstruck with a few, and surprised by some of the ones I expected to be curmudgeonly and sour.
I would not love to run into Jeff Pearlman. I'm not sure if I'd refuse to shake his hand, but I would do everything in my power to leave the vicinity as quickly as possible. You are everything I hate about sportswriting, I would think. You are the death of nuance. You wrote an article about how Kirk Rueter big-timed you. You are awful.
That article is awful, by the way. Don't click on it.

Omar Infante??? - MLB Trade Rumors
The Giants had interest in Omar Infante, FOX Sports' Jon Morosi tweets. Somewhat surprisingly, they were interested in using him as a left fielder in 2014, before eventually moving him to third base. Infante today agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Royals to be their second baseman.
Man, now that would have been a sweet freakout.
