With a couple singles and a walk, the Giants' Susac reached base three times for the third consecutive day.  The Giants' Parker also added two singles.  The Giants' Villalona connected for his 3rd AFL double, which was one of two XBH for the Scorpions today.  Souza, whom the Nationals drafted in the third round six years ago, had three hits, plus three steals.  He had a career-high 25 SB in both 2009 and 2011 but has 9 SB through just five AFL games.

The Nationals' Purke has been dominant through three AFL starts with 3 H, 3 BB, 0 ER and 12 K in 12.0 IP.  He managed a 3.80 ERA in eighteen starts this year in the lower minors.
