The Giants' Villalona managed a walk in four plate appearances.  He has 2 BB in five AFL games after 23 BB in 125 games this year.  The Scorpions' offense was led by the Braves' La Stella, who had 2 XBH while reaching base in all five plate appearances.and the Yankees' O'Brien, who homered twice.  Schoop, one of the Orioles' top prospects and the younger brother of Giants' minor league Sharlon Schoop, hit one of two big flies for the Saguaros.

Mejia pitched a perfect 5th inning with 2 K before allowing 4 ER in the 6th inning.  The final batter he faced was Schoop, who hit a 2-run HR.
