The Giants' Susac was the lone Scorpion to reach base three times.  The Nationals' Nieto, the other starting catcher, was the lone Solar Sox hitter to reach base three times.  Nieto hit .285/.373/.449 in 390 AB in the Carolina League this past year.

The Giants' Mejia, the first of six Scorpions relievers, loaded the bases with two singles and a hit batter to begin the 4th inning.  He allowed two runs to score on a wild pitch and a balk.  Familia, who made nine appearances for the Mets this year, was the lone Scorpion to pitch a perfect inning.  The Giants' Hall pitched a scoreless 9th inning.
