Labor Day highlights from the Giants' farm: both Adam Duvall and Carter Jurica homered as part of multi-hit games.

AAA: Fresno defeated Tacoma 6-4

In the season-finale, Ciriaco was the lone Grizzly with two hits. He reached base four times. Gillaspie reached base in both his plate appearances. Liddi, who has had over 100 AB with the Mariners this year, had his 11th HR and 18th double in the PCL this year.

Burres allowed 10+ H for the just the second time this year. He finished his PCL season with a 5.40 ERA in nineteen starts. Hembree pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 15th save. Hultzen, whom the Mariners drafted second overall a year ago, has struggled with his control. In twelve PCL starts, he had 43 BB in 48.2 IP.

AA: Richmond lost to Akron 6-0

Richmond: SP Chris Heston: 5.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K--1 WP
Richmond: RP Michael Kickham: 2.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 2 K--1 HR

With one of the Flying Squirrels' three hits (all singles) and one of their two walks, Brown reached base twice. He finished the year with a .279/.347/.385 line in 538 AB.

After seven straight starts with 2 R or less, Heston came up shy of a quality start to end the season. Still, he finished with an ERA of just 2.24 in 25 starts. He led the league in ERA and was named the league's pitcher of the year. Making a relief appearance on four days rest, Kickham allowed 3 ER to have his final ERA creep just above 3.00.

A+: San Jose defeated Modesto 5-3

San Jose: DH Carter Jurica: 2 for 2, HR
San Jose: 3B Adam Duvall: 2 for 4, HR, 2B

San Jose: SP Justin Schumer: 6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Duvall and Jurica had their 30th and 6th HRs. With hits in both of his plate appearances before being lifted for a pinch hitter in the 4th inning, Jurica finished with a .300 AVG.

Schumer finished his season with a second straight quality start and with a 4.87 ERA in 140.1 IP.

A-: Augusta lost to Charleston 7-1

Augusta: CF Elliott Blair: 1 for 3, HBP, SB

Augusta: SP Paul Davis: 6.0 IP, 11 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 3 K--1 HB, 1 WP

Blair had one of the GreenJackets' three hits (all singles) and his 11th SB.

Coming off one of his best starts of the year (7.0 scoreless IP), Davis allowed a season-high 11 H and matched a season high with 6 R. He had a 3.73 ERA in fifteen starts.
