Sunday highlight from the Giants' farm: Ricky Oropesa homered among four hits.

AAA: Fresno lost to Tacoma 10-2
(after trailing 3-2 entering the 7th inning)

Fresno: SS Nick Noonan: 2 for 4, SO

Fresno: SP Boof Bonser: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 7 K--1 WP

Playing his second game after missing three months while on the DL, Kieschnick connected for his 15th HR. Noonan was one of two Grizzlies with two hits, raising his AVG just a bit to .297.

Despite a season-high 7 K, Bonser came up shy of a quality start. He had 4.50 ERA in 34.0 IP in the PCL this year.

AA: Richmond hosting Akron was cancelled due to rain

A+: San Jose defeated Modesto 8-3

Oropesa had his 16th HR and 30th double among four hits. Payne added three more hits in his Cal League debut.

Bradley finished his season with a second straight quality start and with a 4.90 ERA over 28 starts. Valdez had 2 K in a perfect 8th inning. His K/IP is above 1.33.

A-: Augusta lost to Charleston 5-1

With a couple singles, Schroder was the lone GreenJacket to reach base twice.

Couture made his 9th start among 37 appearances. He had a 1.84 ERA in his 28 relief appearances but a 3.79 ERA in his nine starts. Hess had 3.0 perfect IP in his fourth appearance for the GreenJackets. Pitching on three days rest, Crick got one final appearce for the season, which did not go well as nearly half (5 of 11) his batters reached base.
