Tuesday highlight from the Giants' farm: Joan Gregorio had 6.0 scoreless IP.

AAA: Fresno lost to Tucson 6-0

Bond had his 12th and 13th doubles. With multiple hits for the fourth time in his last six games, Nady was the only other Grizzly to reach base twice. The Padres' Gyorko homered for the third straight game in Fresno. He has 27 HR this year.

Stevenson allowed 4+ ER for the fourth time in his last five starts. Hembree struck out two of his four batters in a scoreless 9th inning.

AA: Richmond defeated Bowie 7-3

Hodges reached base three times to lead the Flying Squirrels' offense. Adrianza was one of two other Squirrels with two hits, and Brown had his 32nd double.

For the sixth time in his last nine starts, Gloor had a quality start. He has allowed 5 HR, though, over his last five starts. Quirarte pitched a perfect 9th inning.

Batting leadoff, Jurica reached base three times. Oropesa, who had his 27th double, was one of three other Giants with two hits.

Snodgrass began with three scoreless frames but allowed 6 ER in the 4th inning, raising his ERA above 4.50. Whitaker, the second of five Giants relievers, pitched a perfect 6th inning.

Krill had another multi-hit game. Buechele had his 2nd HR, while Harris had his 6th SAL HR--which was a three-run shot with two outs in the 7th inning.

Making a spot start, Couture faced just one batter over the minimum in 4.0 scoreless IP. In his eight starts this year (among 34 appearances), he has just 14 K in 35.0 IP.

Making his fourteenth start, Gregorio did not allow a run for the first time this year. He also had his third straight start with 6 K, raising his K/BB above 3.00.

Mercedes had his 4th double in his last six games and his 10th double of the season. His SLG remains a bit shy of .400, though.

Making his first rehab appearance, Penny retired just three of seven batters. Freite, the fourth of five rookie Giants relievers, pitched the longest of the relievers facing twelve batters, although he retired less than half of them.
