Although it was a five-hour game, Bond and Stromsmoe were the only two Grizzlies with multiple hits. After the two teams had combined for just four runs in fifteen innings, the Athletics' Recker plated four runs with his grand slam in the 16th inning.
Petit had another strong start, lowering his ERA to 3.18. Tanner, the fourth of five Grizzlies relievers, made his PCL debut in his return to the Giants organization. He had an ERA just over 4.00 in 30 appearances for the Reds' double-A affiliate previously this year. Valdez, the ex-Giant who was was the fourth of six relievers for the RiverCats, had 2.2 perfect IP.

Adrianza had his 3rd HR, and Mitchell had his first HR since joining the Giants organization. Weeks had three hits while reaching base in all four plate appearances, improving the utility player's OBP to .320.
Fitzgerald had perhaps his best start of the year. With two straight starts allowing just 1 ER, he has gotten his ERA back down to .419.
A+: San Jose lost to Ranch Cucamonga 11-10
(after being outscored in the 6th inning 7-5)

Huff homered in his second rehab game. Lollis had three singles to reclaim the team lead with a .300 AVG.
Snodgrass allowed a season-high 7 ER, boosting his ERA to 4.42.

Krill had three hits for the second time in his last three games. His recent hitting streak has boosted his AVG to .256. Story, whom the Rockies drafted 45th overall a year ago, had his 13th HR.
Making his fourth straight start, Davis managed a season-high 7.0 IP. Couture pitched a perfect 8th inning.

While the rest of the lineup managed just five hits, Pujadas (20.6 y.o.) walked four times. Diaz (18.7 y.o.) had a solid start, but his ERA remains above 6.50.
