Peguero continues to swing a hot bat, with his seventh multi-hit performance in his last nine games. Pill had his 4th HR and 8th double.
Bouncing back from his last start (5 ER in 5.0 IP), Petit delivered another quality start.
AA: Richmond defeated Akron 9-5 (11 innings)

Brown and Adrianza were two of four GreenJackets with two hits each. Monell led off the 4th inning with his 5th HR.
This was Fitzgerald's first start with 2 R or less and at least 6.0 IP in approximately two months. Still, his ERA remains above 4.50.
A+: San Jose lost to Stockton 7-6
(after leading 5-0 and then scoring the tying run in the top of the 9th inning)

In the 1st inning, Duvall connected for his 14th HR. In the 9th inning, Susac tied the game with his 5th HR. With a couple singles earlier in the game, he raised his OPS above .700. In between the big flies, Panik paced the Giants' offense with three hits, although he also made his 14th error.
Snodgrass has not had a quality start since the end of May, but his ERA remains below 4.00.

Escobar allowed just an unearned run through four innings but then did not retire any of his four batters in the 5th inning.

In five starts this year, Davis has an ERA above 4.00 despite having 19 K against just 1 BB.

Montero had his best start of the year, featuring a season-high 5 K and season-best 0 ER.

Pena (19.6 y.o.) had his 5th HR, as well as a couple singles, raising his SLG to .550 after 80 AB. Gomez (17.10 y.o.), the second of three Gigantes relievers, provided long relief.
