Saturday highlights from the Giants' farm: Nick Noonan reached base in all five plate appearances, and Chris Gloor had 6.2 scoreless IP. Also notable, Carter Jurica homered and singled.

AAA: Fresno lost to Tucson 9-5

Noonan reached base in all five plate appearances, including twice via his 18th and 19th doubles. He has hit .304/.364/.433 through 319 AB this year. With his 16th and 17th doubles, Linden wa the only other Grizzly with two hits. The Padres' Gyorko had another big game with his 15th HR among three hits.

Hacker gave up 5+ ER for the fifth time in his last six starts. His ERA has risen to 4.76.

AA: Richmond defeated Harrisburg 5-4 (10 innings)
(after allowing all four runs in the 9th inning)

Richmond: 3B Daniel Mayora: 4 for 4, 2B
Richmond: 2B Ryan Cavan: 1 for 4, HR, SO

Richmond: SP Chris Gloor: 6.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 K

Mayora had half of the Flying Squirrels' eight hits, raising his AVG back up to .294. Cavan had his 9th HR.

Gloor had another very effective start, facing just three batters over the minimum in 6.2 scoreless IP. After nineteen relief appearances, he has allowed just 1 ER in his four starts, driving his season ERA below 2.00. In his longest start yet, he threw 101 pitches (71 strikes).

A+: San Jose lost to Visalia 8-3
(allowing all eight runs over the middle three innings)

Jurica led off the bottom of the 1st inning with his 3rd HR. He later added a singled. Burg, who drew all three of the Giants' walks, was the only other batter to reach base twice.

Back in the rotation after four relief appearances, Sanford was out of the game in the 5th inning after 63 pitches. Concepcion did not retire any of his seven batters, although two reached on Adam Duvall's 15th and 16th errors.

A-: Augusta lost to West Virginia 8-6

Harris had his 1st HR since his demotion. Dropped to the last spot in the lineup after hitting well below the Mendoza line since June 1st, Tomlinson singled twice.

Mejia had his least effective appearance in about three months. Of his 8 ER, 5 ER scored in the 5th inning. He did depart the game with the lead but with the bases loaded. Each of those runners scored, and both bullpens were otherwise unscored upon.

ssA: Salem-Keizer lost to Yakima 4-0

Salem-Keizer: 2B Stephen Branca: 2 for 3, 2B

Salem-Keizer: SP Kendry Flores: 6.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--1 HR

Batting ninth, Branca had two of the Volcanoes' three hits (all singles). His AVG in his first pro season remains below .250.

Flores had one of his better starts, allowing just a two-run HR in the 4th inning.
