Arnold was the lone GreenJacket with two hits. Staley, the other regular catcher on the roster, reached base three times. Both hitters have a .267 AVG.

In a two-hour game that also had a two-hour rain delay, Blackburn had an abbreviated start with 4.0 scoreless IP. He faced just two batters over the mininum. Neff continues to rack up the strikeouts as he had his fourth straight appearance with at least 3 K.

Valdez (18.0 y.o.) had two of the Gigantes' six hits. His 3rd double was their lone XBH. Mella (18.11 y.o.) did not allow a run for the third time in six starts. After having 11 K in 7.1 IP in his previous relief appearance, Mateo (22.8 y.o.) had 7 K in 5.0 scoreless IP. Both Mella and Mateo have ERAs below 2.50.
