With two singles, Peguero was the lone Grizzly to reach base twice. Hitting nearly .300 over his last ten games, he has raised his AVG to .238.
Petit had another very strong start. After scuffling a bit through his first four starts, he has allowed 2 ER or less in nine of his subsequent ten starts. He had made eight straight quality starts. His ERA is now down to 3.06.

Minicozzi and Cavan both homered in the 5th inning, with their 2nd and 6th HRs, respectively. Cavan and Brown both had two hits, although both still have AVGs below .250.
Making a spot start after seventeen relief appearances, Ronick faced just two batters over the minimum in 4.0 scoreless IP. He threw 50 pitches (32 strikes). Bochy struck out four of his seven batters, raising his K/IP above 1.20.

Burg reached base three time for the Giants, drawing two of their three walks. Lollis was one of two Giants with two hits, maintaining his team-leading AVG above .300.
Back in the Cal League after four PCL starts, Sanford delivered a quality start, despite just 2 K. Runzler pitched a perfect 8th inning, making his third rehab appearance after four days off. Valdez pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 3rd save.

In his second longest start of the year, Biagnini had new season highs with 7 H, 7 R and 7 K. His 5 BB matched a previous season high.

Rodriguez, the nearly 20-year-old bonus baby, had three hits in his second NWL game. Leadoff hitter Metzger reached base four times.
Gregorio, who had a 2.32 ERA in a dozen AZL starts last summer, had a strong NWL debut, facing just two batters over the minimum in 6.0 IP, although both of those batters did score. Bilodeau, who began the season in the Sally League, got five outs from four batters for his 1st pro save.

Villalona (21.10 y.o.) reached base four times, as he strives to get back the United States. Castillo (19.6 y.o.) made his third straight relief appearance of at least 4.0 IP. He has given up just one unearned run over his last two appearances.
