Wednesday highlights from the Giants' farm: Chris Heston allowed just 1 ER in 6.0 IP, Ryan Bradley had 6.0 scoreless IP, and both Adam Duvall and Carter Jurica homered as part of multi-hit performances.

AAA: Fresno lost to Reno 7-6 (11 innings)

Arias's three hits paced the Grizzlies' eleven-hit attack, but he also committed his 6th error in just a dozen games. Christian and Kieschnick also remained hot as they had multi-hit lines while also reaching base three times.

After allowing just 1 ER in each of his first two starts, Kown allowed 2 ER in his third start. His ERA remains just 2.20. Hembree blew the save opportunity in the 9th inning.

AA: Richmond defeated Reading 2-1

Cavan's two-run HR in the 3rd inning plated both of the Flying Squirrels' runs. Top prospect Brown was one of two Squirrels to reach base twice.

Heston had another fine start. His stats on the year are now 9 H, 6 BB, 3 ER, and 10 K in 17.0 IP. In the 9th inning Maday struck out all three of his batters for his 4th save.

A+: San Jose defeated Rancho Cucamonga 8-5
(after scoring five runs in the 2nd inning and the game and shutting out the Quakes until the 7th inning)

Duvall had his 2nd HR and 3rd double but also committed his 3rd and 4th errors. After Duvall's solo HR to lead off the 2nd inning, Jurica added a grand slam HR later in the inning Two other Giants, Susac and Anders, also had two hits each, and they combined to reach base seven times.

Bradley had his second straight start with 6.0 scoreless IP, lowering his ERA to 1.13.
