Kieschnick's hot start continues, bouncing back from last year when he had a sub-.750 OPS. He had his 2nd HR, 2nd triple, and the team's only walk as he raised his AVG to .517. Noonan was the only other Grizzly to reach base twice. Cooper, who made his MLB debut for the Blue Jays last summer, had four hits, including a triple and a double. The 35-year-old Woodward and 24-year-old Snider also reached base four times.
Burres was hit hard in his second start as over half his batters (12 of 23) reached base.

Dominguez had two of the Flying Squirrels nine hits (all singles). Top prospect Brown was one of several other Squirrels to reach base twice.
Westcott pounded the strike zone with 52 of 77 pitches for strikes but was too hittable with no strikeouts and nearly half his batters (13 of 28) hitting safely. Bundy, one of the Orioles' top 20 prospects and the older brother of the Orioles' top prospect, had 6.0 scoreless IP.

With three hits each, Oropesa and Arnold accounted for nearly half of the Giants' fourteen hits. They raised their respective AVGs to .348 and .667 (the latter in 9 AB). Panik also reached base three times. With 7 BB and 8 H through 7 games, he has a .441 OBP.
Rogers has allowed two runs in both starts while pitching at least five innings. He had an 8/3 GO/FO line.
