The lineup for Game 3:
Angel Pagan - CF
Marco Scutaro - 2B
Pablo Sandoval - 3B
Buster Posey - C
Hunter Pence - RF
Brandon Belt - 1B
Gregor Blanco - LF
Brandon Crawford - SS
Matt F. Cain - RHP
It's the lineup that we've come to expect from right-handers, but it's newsworthy because Marco Scutaro is back in the lineup after being pushed off a bridge by Matt Holliday, who is an objectively awful human being. Ryan Theriot has a lot of success against Kyle Lohse in his career (.545/.545/.818 in 22 at-bats! Meaningful sample! Predictive of future success!) so I figured it would have been a predictable time to let Scutaro rest his achey hip and get Theriot in the game.
Instead, it's the best lineup the Giants can put out there. Well, the best lineup they can put out there without swallowing their pride and putting Melky Cabrera in left, but that's an argument for a month ago.
Maybe I'm burying the lede here, though. Here's what the weather will look like in St. Louis according to Weather.com:

Game's probably going to get banged, yo. I like how the weather circles St. Louis like something out of an old western.
So if you had plans on Saturday, like, oh, your brother's wedding, you're probably hosed.
