Four things that stuck out for me ...

  1. Nary a Giant embarrassed himself. Pablo Sandoval tied Kevin Mitchell, Dick Dietz, and Ed Bailey on the franchise RBI leaderboard for All-Star Games. Brian Wilson is the first Giant with three straight scoreless appearances since Juan Marichal in 1968, 1969, and 1971.

  2. This:
    3. Ron Washington in interview room: "Maybe I just shouldn't do anything with Bruce Bochy anymore."
  3. Matt Cain received the loudest boos of anyone on either team. That nourishes me.
  4. The Giants will have home-field advantage in the World Series, which is sweet because the Mariners are good at home.
