Pill's four singles accounted for a quarter of the Grizzlies' sixteen hits and raised his AVG to .321. Belt and Gillaspie were two of three other Grizzlies with a multi-hit performance. Eldred and Rohlinger both relivered pinch-hit HRs to plate three of the Grizzlies' four runs.
Mathis faced just three batters over the minimum in 6.0 no-hit IP. He had a 11/3 GO/FO line before he was removed for a pinch hitter after throwing 96 pitches (54 strikes). Espineli, who was released by the Rockies earlier this year, pitched a perfect 7th inning in his second appearance back with Fresno. For the third time in his last six appearances, Edlefsen allowed at least 3 ER, inflating his ERA to nearly 7.00.

Dominguez's three hits, including his 9th HR, paced the Giants' offense and raised his AVG to .285. With two outs in the 11th inning, Cavan connected for his 5th HR to extend the game deeper into extra innings. Brown finally got a hit in the 15th inning to extend his hitting streak to eleven games.
Casilla retired five of eight batters in his second rehab appearance. Westcott effectively made his seventh start of the year. With 4 ER in each of his last two starts, he has as many ER in his last two starts as in his first five starts, raising his ERA above 3.50.

Sanford has pitched fairly well since joining the rotation. In four of five starts, he has allowed just 1 ER. Dunnington did not retire any of his five batters.
