Saturday's highlights from the Giants' farm: Seth Rosin had 7.0 shutout IP, Hector Sanchez homered and singled, and Emmanuel Burriss had a couple XBH among his three hits.

Burriss had three of the Grizzlies' dozen hits, including his 1st triple and 7th double, raising his AVG to .366.  Belt, who reached base four times, and Evans, who entered the game as a pinch hitter in the 6th inning, were two of the other three Grizzlies' with multi-hit performances.

Loux had his least effective start of the year.  He allowed more than 4 R for the first time this year, and the 7 R in this start exceeded the 6 R he had allowed over his previous four starts combined.  His ERA rose to 3.75.  Daigle pitched a perfect 8th inning.

A+: San Jose lost to Stockton 9-4

With three of the Giants' ten hits, Parker raised his AVG to .265.  Sanchez, the other Giant with a multi-hit evening, led off the 8th inning with his 4th HR.  Brown had a fairly unremarkable line but extended his hitting streak to nine games.

Marte had his least effective start of the year.  After allowing just 3 ER over his first five starts, he has allowed 10 ER over his subsequent two starts.  His ERA is now 2.88.  This start also included a season-high 4 BB, dropping his K/BB ratio below 1.50.

The GreenJackets' two middle infielders, Willoughby and Adrianza, accounted for half of the team's eight hits.  Willoughby also had his 13th SB.  This was Adrianza's first game of the year.

Rosin had his most effective start of the season, not allowing a run for the first time in six starts.  He pitched a full seven innings for the third time in four starts.  With a season-low 3 H, he improved his BAA to .278.
