In an effort to keep the club's stong pitching staff intact for the upcoming future, the San Francisco Giants have signed pitchers Jeremy Affeldt, Matt Cain and Brian Wilson to contract extensions, club Senior Vice President and General Manager Brian Sabean announced today. Affeldt receives a one-year extension for the 2011 season, with a club option for 2012, Cain receives a new three-year contract for 2010-12, and Wilson receives a two-year extension for 2011 and 2012.
His $4.25 million salary is unchanged this year, he gets a $7 million salary and $1 million signing bonus in 2011 and $15 million in 2012.
