I will be taping the game today. My goal is to be able to watch it at 6:00 when I get home from work. I feel like I'm part of a social experiment.

Maybe I'll just spend the afternoon churning butter to complete the facade.
So the pre-game comment starter: What time and/or inning do you think this plan will fail? I'm guessing a co-worker blows it around 5:00 or so.
I don't know if it will be maddening or comforting to know that I'm watching the game after the outcome has already been decided. I'm recording an additional three hours of Fox programming just in case of an epic extra-innings event.
I'm really, really curious to see how this fails.
