Sometimes, it's hard to look past the caricature; the doddering Finleyphile who switches relievers eight times in the ninth inning of a 15-run game. Felipe Alou isn't too popular with a lot of people right now.
Maybe it's time for a little perspective. The guy will never stop being an interesting and admirable character.
