I thought I'd put this up, because there really hasn't been any talk of Pierre going to the Dodgers on this site. Once again, I've scooped the rest of the site. Interesting tidbit from the article:
The San Francisco Giants were also interested in Pierre, and had offered him a four-year deal in the $32-34 million range, a source said.
Man. I just don't get it. If it is Roberts that fills the crazy Grand Canyon-sized hole in centerfield -- the biggest hole in the history of constructing a roster -- at least Roberts is a decent OBP, high steal success rate, non-five-year kind of guy. Still not what the Giants need, but a player that's useful....
