I won't read the article for fear of ruining the dream, but I'm hoping some of the quotes involve him quitting or resigning or going somewhere else or trading himself to the Yankees for Alex Rodriguez.

It is close between '79, '85 and '95, but it has to be 1985.  Pretty decent pitching, but a really bad offensive team.  They lost 100 games that year for the only time in franchise history.

That happened to me on a daily basis when I worked in San Ramon. I'd walk across the street from my work building for lunch and almost get run over by SUVs and penis trucks when crossing the street, in the crosswalk, with the crosswalk light green.

what Costas just said made no sense. He said the writers might not vote for Bonds the first time as a protest because he might have used steroids, but they would probably vote him in later. He then said that if McGwire didn't get enough votes last time he probably won't get in. Err, Bob. What if last year was a protest vote??
