Ishikawa's 8th HR scored two runs in the 4th inning. Brown's 14th double and single were half of the Grizzlies' four hits and raised his AVG to .270.
Lively enjoyed his second straight quality start, scattering six singles over 6.1 scoreless IP. His ERA remains above 5.00. Cordier had 2 K in a perfect 9th inning for his 1st save and just 5th pro save. The stadium scoreboard reported several of his fastball at 98-100 mph.
AA: Richmond defeated Harrisburg 8-6
(scoring five runs in the 2nd inning but needing two runs in the 7th inning to reclaim the lead)

Lisson and and Oropesa led off the 2nd inning going back-to-back with their 10th and 3rd HRs. Tomlinson had three of the Flying Squirrels' eleven hits, raising his AVG above .260. He also got his 33rd SB.
Mejia allowed a new season-high 9 H, raising his BAA above .300.
A+: San Jose defeated Modesto 10-2
(scoring five runs in the 2nd inning and four runs in the 4th inning)

Batting in the bottom third of the lineup, Turner and Blair both reached base four times. The 24-year-old Turner is having a solid pro season hitting .296/.350/.384 through 216 AB.
Young had just his second quality start in fourteen starts this year.

The GreenJackets' had just two hits, but they were big hits. Tuntland and Moreno went back-to-back in the 7th inning, each with their 1st HR this year, driving in all three GreenJacket runs.
Gregorio's fourth start since returning from the DL was his longest yet. In 4.2 IP, he allowed just one hit to his seventeen batters.

Leenhouts enjoyed his third straight strong start, despite allowing a season-high 8 H. In his last three starts, his stats include 2 R, 12 H, 0 BB, and 26 K in 19.2 IP.

Martinez enjoyed a strong start, striking out half of his ten batters in 3.0 scoreless IP.

Edie had another strong game, including his 1st triple and 5 RBIs while reaching base five times. Antunez had four hits to raise his AVG to .259.
After three starts in five appearances, the 19-year-old Parra has a 1.64 ERA through 22.0 IP. In his three starts, he has 16 K and just 1 BB.
