Hi. I have a pair of tickets to Saturday night's game vs. the Cincinnati Reds. Two great seats in Club Section 227, along the third base line. It's Brandon Belt/Crawford Bobblehead night, don't you know, for the first 40,000 fans in attendance. I'd love to go, but we have a friend's wedding to attend. Alas.
The face value of the tickets is $95 each ($190 total), but I'm giving them away. Sort of. There's just one small catch.
You see, a few months ago Grant, Mrs. Owlcroft and I were discussing me donating them to this year's Alex Lewis Scholarship Auction, but for various reasons that auction hasn't yet come together (although I certainly hope it will!). Now there are five days left before the game, and I need to unload the tickets to two deserving McCoven.
So here's what I ask.
IF you're interested in the tickets, AND can arrange to pick them up from me in downtown San Francisco sometime after work this week, or even Saturday before about noon, AND you are willing to make a donation to The Alex Lewis Scholarship Fund, THEN I will give you the tickets. I'd love for the donation to be at least face value of the tickets, but something is better than nothing. Highest legitimate bid gets the tickets.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org only if you're seriously interested. Bidding will be open until end of the day on Wednesday June 25.
