Panik and Ciriaco each had three of the Grizzlies' fifteen hits, raising their AVGs to .316 and .231. Lindsey, the Angels' top prospect, connected for his 3rd HR.
Kickham had more than 3 BB for just the second time in ten starts, but he was apparently effectively wild in his 6.0 no-hit IP. He departed after 96 pitches (just 50 strikes). Santiago made his first minor league appearance in three years and was roughed up, allowing two thirds of his batters (12 of 18) to reach base.
AA: Richmond defeated Trenton 9-1

Villalona connected in the 1st inning for his 5th HR. He had 4 RBIs. Schroder hit his 3rd and 4th doubles.
Fleet made his second start in sixteen appearances. He has a 3.63 ERA after 39.2 IP.
A+: San Jose defeated Visalia 3-2
(scoring the go-ahead run in the 7th inning)

San Jose: 2B Blake Miller: 2 for 4, HR
San Jose: SP Ryan Bradley: 4.0 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K
Miller, who hit his 6th HR, and Blair, who hit his 8th double, each had two of the Giants' eight hits. Both have AVGs above .300.
After thirteen relief appearances with an ERA close to 11.00, Bradley made his first start this year.

Horan hit his 5th HR and 16th double. Jones hit his 1st triple and 11th and 12th doubles. After slugging just .330 in 91 AB in April, Jones has slugged .539 through 76 AB in May.
After Johnson retired just one of his six batters, Alvarado provided effective long relief, facing just two batters over the minimum in 4.2 IP. Alvarado's performance brought his ERA below 4.00, while Johnson's ERA rose to 5.79.
