Ahmed, whom the Braves drafted in the 2nd round three years ago and traded to the Diamondbacks as part of the Justin Upton trade, connected for the two-run HR in the 8th inning.
Escobar had his most effective start of the year. He faced just two batters over the minimum in 7.0 scoreless IP. He threw 93 pitches (63 strikes). After four starts, his component stats include 24 H, 4 BB and 22 K in 19.2 IP.
