Fresno: RF Chris Dominguez: 2 for 3, 2B, SF

Fresno: SP Jason Berken: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K--1 HR

Dominguez, one of three Grizzlies with two hits each, had the Grizzlies' lone XBH.  He has hit safely in all six games in which he has played and has a .364 AVG.

Pitching in the afternoon contest, Berken delivered his second straight quality start.  He has a 3.38 ERA after three starts.

With his 4th double and a single, Krill was the lone player in the game with two hits.

A+: San Jose defeated Inland Empire 4-3
(after scoring three runs in the 1st inning)

San Jose: CF Chris Lofton: 2 for 3, BB, CS
San Jose: 1B Brian Ragira: 1 for 3, HR, BB

Ragira, who had 3 HR last summer, connected for his 1st HR this year with a two-run, two-out HR in the 1st inning.  Batting Leadoff, Lofton reached base three teams and scored two of the Giants' four runs.

Gregorio struck out nearly half his batters (11 of 23).  The strikeouts contributed towards a high pitch count.  With 92 pitches (59 strikes), he came up shy of qualifying for a so-called quality start.  Bucardo, the first of three Giants relievers, struck out half his batters (3 of 6) in 1.2 scoreless IP.

The nearly 26-year-old Harris had his 2nd and 3rd doubles, while the rest of the GreenJackets managed just three hits.
