Champagne, no bubbles--Syria

Just wondering if our "pending" action is on anyone’s mind? The persistent question I have is, if Syria’s use of chemical weapons is in violation of international law, then who’s responsible for enforcement of said law?

I doubt that the US is charged with this responsibility; perhaps it’s the UN. If indeed that is the case, then wouldn’t it be in our national interests to support and strengthen the UN, instead of continually hauling off and acting like vigilante’s? Not to mention, that vigilantism is counter to our own legal traditions.
