Labor Day highlight from the Giants' farm: Ryan Bradley had 5.0 scoreless IP.  Also notable, Devin Harris, Shayne Houck, and Travious Relaford homered in multi-hit efforts.

AAA: Fresno defeated Colorado Springs 4-3

Fresno: C Guillermo Quiroz: 1 for 2, BB
Fresno: P Mitch Lively: 2 for 2

Fresno: SP Mitch Lively: 6.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Lively was the lone Grizzly hitter with two hits, finishing his season with a .368 AVG (in limited AB).  Quiroz was the only other Grizzly to reach base twice as he drew their lone walk.

Lively allowed 2 R or less in eight of his nine starts.  He had a 3.75 ERA in his twenty starts.

AA: Richmond lost to Harrisburg 1-0

Richmond: RF Jarrett Parker: 0 for 2, 2 BB, SO

Richmond: SP Ryan Bradley: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K

Parker was the lone Flying Squirrel to reach base twice.  Their offense was limited to two singles, four walks, and a steal.

Bradley delivered 9.0 scoreless IP over his last two starts but still finished the year with an ERA over 6.00.

A+: San Jose lost to Inland Empire 6-3

San Jose: 3B Myles Schroder: 2 for 4, 2 2B
San Jose: LF Devin Harris: 2 for 4, HR
San Jose: C Eric Sim: 1 for 2, 2B, BB
Inland Empire: LF Zach Borenstein: 2 for 4, HR, BB, GiDP

San Jose: SP Luis Rojas: 3.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K

Harris connected for his 23rd HR.  Schroder finished the season strong, batting better than .375 in August.  In his last five games, he went 12 for 21 with 6 XBH.  Sim doubled and walked in his three plate appearances.  The Angels' Borenstein homered for the third straight day, hitting his league-leading 28 HR in the 9th inning.

Rojas made the spot start, his first pro start after 156 relief appearances.

A-: Augusta defeated Asheville 6-2 in game 1

Augusta: RP Stephen Johnson: 2.0 IP, 3 K

Houck and Relaford connected for their 5th and 2nd HR.  Delfino's three hits paced the GreenJacket's nine-hit attack and raised his AVG to .270.

Kurrasch's final 2013 start was cut short by the weather.  After beginning the year with a 5.03 ERA in 34.0 IP in the NWL, he managed a 1.78 ERA in 25.1 IP in the SAL.  Gregorio made his first appearance in a month, pitching a scoreless 3rd, 4th and 5th inning.  Johnson struck out three of his six batters.  In his first full pro season, he had 71 K but 30 BB in 52.1 IP.

A-: Augusta at Asheville in game 2 was cancelled

ssA: Salem-Keizer defeated Eugene 6-4

Salem-Keizer: DH Leonardo Rojas: 2 for 3, HBP, SO
Salem-Keizer: SS Brandon Bednar: 2 for 4, HR, 2B

Salem-Keizer: SP Jake Smith: 6.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 K--1 HB, 1 WP

Bednar connected for his 6th HR and 9th double in the season finale.  He hit .272/.332/.406 in 202 AB.  Rojas reached base three times.

Making his fourth pro start, Smith had a career-high 8 K, striking out more than one third of his 22 batters.
