Galindo had one of the Giants' three hits (all singles) and one of their three walks as the lone Giant to reach base twice.
Blach allowed just an unearned run in the 1st inning before departing the game with runners on third and second with one out in the 8th inning. Both runners subsequently scored. Pitching into the 8th inning for just the second time this year, he threw 104 pitches (73 strikes). He allowed just one XBH and had a 12/5 GO/FO line. The Angels' 24-year-old Arenas, who spent the last two years in the Texas League but most of this year back in the Cal League with an ERA over 5.00 in 18 starts, combined with a reliever for the shutout.
