In the 1st inning, Oropesa homered for the fourth time in five post-season games. In the 6th ining, Harris added his 3rd HR of the series. His three hits tonight paced the Giants' fifteen-hit attack. Schroder doubled twice as one of four other Giants with two hits.
Young, who had eight NWL starts this year, made the start in the decisive fifth game but allowed nearly half (10 of 22) his batters to reach base. Marte was more effective in long relief, getting 13 outs while facing 16 batters.
