Dominguez's 14th HR was the lone XBH for the Grizzlies and provided the Grizzlies the early lead. The Grizzlies added five more runs from their thirteen-hit attack. Pagan, playing his third PCL game on his current rehab assignment, and Perez, who raised his AVG above .300, were two of four other Grizzlies to reach base at least three times.
Maday made his second start this year and combined with four other Grizzlies pitchers with ERAs above 5.40, including Tobin who pitched a perfect 8th inning, for the shutout.

Tomlinson had his second straight start reaching base three times, but he still has a sub-.500 OPS since his promotion to the upper minors. The Phillies' Franco, who has emerged as perhaps one of the top 50 prospects in the minors, connected his 30th HR this year--a two-run, two-out shot in the bottom of the 9th inning to tie the game.
Westcott allowed just 1 R through 6.0 IP before being tagged for 3 R in the 7th inning. He has a 3.87 ERA. He has made at least 24 starts in each of his four full pro seasons.

Williamson extended his hitting streak to nine games, during which he has hit better than .500 with over half his hits for extra bases (36 AB, 19 H, 10 XBH). His season line is now .293/.373/.508 through 498 AB.
Mejia had his longest start of the year, pitching into the 7th inning for the first time. Over his last five starts, he has been slightly too hittable but had an excellent K/BB ratio (31 H, 6 BB and 30 K in 28.2 IP).

Leenhouts had his start cut short by yesterday's suspension. He has 13 K against just 1 BB over his last three starts, raising his K/BB ratio above 3.00. Neff, who is in his third pro season, had 2.2 perfect IP, bringing his ERA below 2.00.
