As much as I think his hitting could be helped by getting into a rhythm down there, it makes no sense to condition him as an everyday player and then throw him back on the bench, which is where he'll be his whole career if he sticks with SF. Abreu really is the only logical option to replace him at this point, and I don't see him doing much. Thoughts?
