The Grizzlies went deep three times. Monell hit his 9th HR, and Kieschnick his 7th HR--both while reaching base four times. Dominguez hit his 8th HR, 6th double and a single, raising his AVG to .277. Monell has been hot over his last nine games, hitting 16 for 35 with 4 HR and 4 BB to raise his season OPS above .900. Peguero also had three hits, raising his AVG to .339. The Padres' Forsythe, playing his second rehab game, tripled, doubled and singled to have three of the Padres' seven hits.
Making his third pro start, Lively had a presumable career-high 9 K. He had had only 8 K over his last nine appearances combined.
AA: Richmond lost to New Britain 2-1

Herrera had his 13th double and a single. The 28-year-old has hit .303/.384/.468 through his first 188 AB in the Giants' organization.
Snodgrass allowed an earned run in both the 2nd and the 4th innings before coming up one out short for the complete-game loss. His ERA remains below 2.00.

Williamson hit his 6th HR--his first XBH in his last six games. His XBH/AB ratio is 8%. Haney was one of three Giants with two hits, including his 9th double, raising his AVG to .262.
Coming off two quality starts, Escobar lasted just 4.0 IP tonight, while throwing 83 pitches (57 strikes). The 7 K was the most he has had over his last five starts. After ten starts, his component stats are 39 H, 13 BB and 58 K in 45.2 IP. Osich pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 6th save.
