I'm keeping a master list of all the HATERS, and I plan on REGISTERING MY DISGUST in the comments section of every site with a PRO-DODGERS BIAS. Comin' for you, Cistulli!
MLB 2013 season predictions from a cat - SBNation.com
These are season predictions from a cat. Marc Normandin's cat, specifically. His cat predicts the Giants losing to the Angels in the World Series. His cat is stupid.
Baseball Team Valuations 2013: Yankees On Top At $2.3 Billion - Forbes
The Giants' relatively low ranking surprised me a bit, but Forbes is generally pretty conservative with their valuations. If the Giants went up for sale tomorrow, the bidding would probably go way past $800 million.
Grateful Dead Rocking the National Anthem - YouTube
Someone tweeted this out, and I'm including it because a) I was at the game, and b) Jerry Garcia in a Giants starter jacket.
Starting guns: SF Giants opening day pitchers, 1958-2013
I loved this. It's a slideshow, sure, but what a slideshow. If you needed another reminder of how many Livan Hernandez appearances there were on Opening Day, here you go.
Clay Davenport is cool
Just what it says. All of the other projection systems are lukewarm on the Giants, but Clay Davenport's algorithm accounts for Buster Posey's calming glow
Just because: Keith Comstock's sublime baseball card - CBSSports.com
Keith Comstock used to be on the Giants. That's excuse enough to link to this masterpiece.
ball champions - YouTube
Okay, I'm a gonna blow your mind. Do you know those AT&T ads with the deadpan guy interviewing a bunch of kindergartners? Sure. They play those commericals in your room as you sleep.
Now remember the weird dude who made us squirm with his uncomfortable interviews at AT&T Park? ("Great fireballs tonight!") The link up there goes to the video if you haven't seen it. It's hard for me to watch it the whole way through.
It turns out that the guy from the AT&T commercials is in a sketch-comedy troupe with the weird interviewer, and there's some really, really good stuff there. This made me titter (NSFW), and this piece of low-brow genius made me lose it.
Very, very tangentially related to the Giants. But, hey, it's a link dump.
