To lead off this Fanpost, I'll link to Baseball-Reference's fun spring training stats page. All of your meaningless spring training stats, now in one place!
To eat up some more words, I'll make my predictions for who the last spots on the roster will go to. By my count, there are three spots up for grabs. Bochy broke camp with 13 pitchers last year, but I don't think he'll do the same thing this year. I think it's a battle between Ramon Ramirez and Sandy Rosario for the last spot in the bullpen, and I believe Ramirez will win, with Rosario getting waived to clear space on the 40-man for Ramirez.
As I've mentioned, I think Tony Abreu will win a bench spot, as much as I like Tanaka. And I think Cole Gillespie will make the roster as well. The only hurdle to that is someone would have to be waived to clear space for him on the 40-man...aw hell, make it Rosario Jean Machi.
Anyway, that's enough of my blathering. Talk amongst yourselves.
