Sorry, I meant to post this yesterday!
To "register" for the annual McCovey Chronicles Adoption Draft, please comment on this thread before Tuesday, 2/19. You may calculate your own draft points and put that number in your comment, but if you don't want to, I can calculate it for you. Our formula is: Draft Points = (# of McC comments) + 20*(# of months of membership on McC) + 35*(# of FanPosts + FanShots made on McC). Please do not count any comments, FanPosts or FanShots made after yesterday (2/11/2013). If you changed your username, draft points are transferable (but membership time will not be double-counted!), so make sure to mention your old username here.
Edit: I'm not sure if you're supposed to count fractions of months for your points, but the neat little formula I have on Google Docs does, so I'm going to say you can count them if you want. Please do round to the nearest whole number when you get your final number of draft points, though.
This is also your last chance to claim or release your adoptees. Check this list to make sure we have your info correct. Green means you claimed it, red means you released it, blue/purple means we still need to hear from you. Blue adoptees will be released if the parent has not claimed it by 2/19, and purple adoptees will be retained if the parent does not release it by 2/19. Choosing to designate adoptees as blue/purple was my decision, so let me know if you really wanted to adopt one of the purple adoptees or if you disagree with any of my decisions for any other reason.
You can find finalized rules, and rules discussion, for this year's draft here. The draft will begin on Tuesday, 2/19 (because Monday is President's Day).
And here's the draft order so far, I'll keep updating it when I can!
