Noonan, Nady and Lollis each had two of the Grizzlies' ten hits (all singles).
Making his second straight start, Rodriguez allowed more than a couple baserunners per inning. Martinez, the ex-Giant now with the Diamondbacks, had an abbreviated start after the second batter of the 3rd inning singled on a live drive to the mound.
AA: Richmond lost to Altoona 2-1

Perez had two of the Flying Squirrels' seven hits, with his 24th double being their lone XBH. He has not been an efficient basestealer this year with a 17/14 SB/CS line.
After allowing just 1 ER over his past three starts, Heston allowed 2 ER in this start, but it was still his fourth straight quality start. It was also his third straight start with 3 BB. Over his last six starts, he has 32 K and 15 BB in 35.2 IP.

Jurica had two of the Giants' four hits, raising his AVG to .298. He also had his 12th and 13th errors.
Bradley had his worst start of the year, allowing hits to more than half (9 of 16) of his batters. He allowed five runs in the 1st inning and two more runs in the 2nd inning. Harrold provided effective long relief with 4.1 scoreless IP.

With two hits each, Arnold and Flores had four of the GreenJackets' eight hits, including a double by Arnold to lead off the bottom of the 9th inning followed by a game-ending, walk-off RBI by Flores.
Mejia had his sixth straight start with 3 ER or less in 6.0+ IP. Over his last nine starts, he has a 39 K and 4 BB (but 66 H) in 56.0 IP.

Metzger had one of the Volcanoes' two hits (both singles) and one of their four walks. He entered the game with a .444 OBP in his first pro season. The Volcanoes' lineup struck out 17 times.
Lamb made his second start of the year. allowing just a couple unearned runs while facing just three batters over the minimum in 5.0 IP. He improved his NWL ERA to 2.08 in 17.1 IP.

Medina (17.10 y.o.) reached base three times, raising his OBP above .450. after 128 AB. Facing just two batters over the minimum in 7.0 shutout IP, Diaz (18.9 y.o.) struck out 13 of his 23 batters. Is the 13 K a season-high for any Giants minor leaguer this year? He had not had more than 7 K over his previous eight starts.
