So, the second half of the season approaches. My concern is that the Dodgers are in a position (at least financially, I know nothing about their farm system) to add some key components (first base and/or another starting pitcher perhaps). As for the Giants, I don't see them in a position to do much of anything. They have very little to deal with in the minor leagues (unless you want to give up Tommy Joseph, who I suspect could garner some interest) and I don't think this regime will be interested in picking up much more salary.
I supect Sabean will try to add some relief pitching, as he may be able to get some help fairly cheap. But as for adding a bat, I doubt it. Cost will be too high.
So who do you think the Giants should (and can) pluck. And who in the minors do you feel should be "relatively untouchable."
