Sure I am overly attached to former Giants. Rangers went younger with Soto, who at times has been an excellent hitter. Yorvit used to play second base and left field in winter ball, could still back up those positions I bet. Meanwhile Hector Sanchez could develop in a normal fashion in Fresno. I don't have the salary info, but as a DFA isn't Texas on the hook for that anyway? If Yorvit isn't signed before it's Giants' turn, which is a big if. IF.
