Trade Bait

As I anxiously await to see which relief pitcher and right hand hitting batter the Giants add to their lineup, I also can't help but think of who the Giants will be parting with. Here are some potential players the Giant may be willin to deal. Prospects: C, Tommy Joseph. With Posey and Sanchez holding down the squat in our future, we really have no need for Joseph. OF, Francisco Peguero. He is one of our top hitting prospects, but there is won't be a lot of opportunity to get playing time with the talent we have in the outfield. SS, Charlie Culberson or Nick Noonan. I think we all know Crawford is our shortstop of the now and later. We don't need to hold on to both these guys. Culberson is higher on he depth chart than Noonan and has already played a little this year, but Nick might have the potential others are looking for. SP, Kyle Crick. The Giants have a slew of guys with potential, but Crick is probably the most desirable choice. 1B, Brett Pill. The Giants would be reluctant to let Pill go, but if they make a play at a stronger player Pill could be in the mix. Untouchable: OF, Gary Brown and RP, Heath Embree. Roster: OF, Nate Schierholtz. His everyday at bats and left handed pop would serve more valuable to other teams. IF, Emmanuel Burriss. Has very little value to this team, especially with Arias as our clear infielding utility player.
