I admit it, I couldn't think of a title for this fanpost but I have been trying to work in Silence of the Lambs references lately and I figured this was my best opportunity.

Anywho, given that I have a whole lot of free time on my hands lately (there is another SoftheL reference there somewhere) I've been thinking about the Giants chances. It would seem that we have a very good front three starting rotation, the best right handed setup guy in the business and a good LOOGY. For hitting, we have the best catcher in the majors, a decent 3b and a pretty darn good LF surrounded by 15 pounds of crap. Even with these weaknesses, it would seem that the pitching could take the team pretty damn far.

If you had to list your trade deadline priorities, what would they be? Should Sabean focus on making the strengths stronger or should he focus on shoring up the shitty hitting (where there is really no guarantee there is much out there that could or would be an improvement)? Who would make the biggest impact?
