I was upset by his comments when Barry Zito pitched a gem in Colorado becuase I am a fan who places Giants wins before lots of things that are more important. I howled from the right field bleachers at citifield when he failed to cover second base. And his absence from the team was seen as opportunity not concern. Now I apologize and wish him the best in all his affairs wherever the winds of life take him. I am grateful the giants rewarded him with 22 million dollars for being an integral part of the reason TSFGWTWS. May some part of the contract or the connection to our Giants family give him an avenue of recovery and growth. And I, for one, will welcome him back with open arms.
