Chris Dominguez grand slammed for his second home run of the season. He's got a .258/.280/.375 line this season. Gary Brown had an encouraging game, getting hits, a rare walk, and an all-too rare stolen base.

Chris Heston has allowed just two earned run in his last five starts (31 2/3 innings), and has a tidy 0.84 ERA on the season.

Last season, he had 2 home runs in 97 games between Augusta, San Jose and Richmond. Both the home runs came with Augusta. Joe Panik got his first extra-base hit since May 4th, but he has started to pick things up. He's 13-for-40 (.325) with three doubles, and six walks over four walks in the last ten games.

Jack Snodgrass had given up just one earned run or less in each of the last five games before giving up two this time.. He had a 3.59 with Salem-Keizer last season, working mostly in relief, but has a 1.29 ERA in San Jose as a regular starter. Hector Correa picked up the three-inning save, and had his first really good appearance of the season (granted, it was just his third).

Chris Marlowe has allowed two earned runs or less in each of his last three starts. Bryce Bandilla had a funky line. He struck out 10 of the 14 outs he got, but a two-out error led to five unearned run scoring and a loss for the snakebite Bandilla. Bandilla has a 2.18 ERA on the season.
