The state of the Giants outfield "depth" is such that I am actually thinking about what it would look like to have Blanco make the team. That leaves the 5 non-regulars as - Stewart (I hope), Pill, Fontenot, Theriot and Blanco. That also means, of course, that Belt starts out in Fresno, but I'm just assumng that happens anyway. Not saying I want it to, just assuming so.

Blanco has one and a half offensive skills. He walks and he can run a bit. Hey, maybe that is enough to be the fourth outfielder right now. Speaks volumes. Pray that Melky, Angel and Nate stay healthy.
