The Giants generally take it slow and steady with their prospects. However, each year they seem to choose one prospect who's raking and do a speed-promotion either because of talent and performance, or because of organizational need.

Posey in 2009, Belt in 2010, Crawford, Sanchez in 2011. It worked out great for Posey and Belt, not so well for Crawford and Sanchez.

Funny enough, they didn't do it for Brown last year eventhough many expected them to.

So who's next? For the purposes of this poll, I define speed-promotion as two levels in the year. For most prospects that will be Cal --> Eastern --> PCL. For some, it will be AA --> AAA --> MLB.
