This might be the least noteworthy tradition in the annals of McCovey Chronicles, but we actually do this every year. Here's last year's. It's pretty ridiculous. I had Cody Ross on the Marlins and Prince Fielder on the Rangers. Huh. This picture showed up in the comments as a reference to the Giants' owners and the rainy-day fund. Which, well, kind of seems hilarious now.

Also, everyone was agog with Jimmy Rollins, I guess. He won the Gold Glove and Brandon Crawford didn't, so maybe it was a mistake to ignore him for many years and much money.
