I am very much in favor of adding additional instant replay to MLB but I came across this quote this morning and agree with it's point.

Mike Pereira, referring to the Oregon/Stanford touchdown reversal, said, "I'm beginning to wonder if replay has gotten beyond the point of correcting obvious errors. Are we just getting into the minutia of things?"

I think this is a very valid concern. Bud gets mocked for stating concern about replay as it relates to the speed of the game. I believe most of his concern is overstated but football has reached a point of ridiculousness with replay and I would hate to see that with baseball.

Thoughts? What would be the best replay method?
