Roger K. had a good Friday (2 singles + 1 RBI in 4 ABs), but a bad Saturday (0 hits in 9 ABs with 3 Ks) down in the Dom. Rep. the last 2 days. JCP, conversely, had a bad Friday (0 hits in 3 ABs with 2 Ks + 1 CS), but a good Saturday (a double and a single in 3 ABs). Down in Venezuela, Ehire Adrianza continues to get valuable experience and daily starts at SS and 2B. He collected 1 single in 3 ABs in both games on Friday and Saturday. Down in the desert, Joe Panik continued to struggle at the plate - going hitless in 5 ABs (with 2 Ks) in a game that was televised nationally. He did make several nice plays in the field, though, and appears to be a very polished and smart defensive middle infielder. Even his error was highly-questionable (it was very unlikely that he would have been able to throw out the runner at 1B even if he could have fielded the ball cleanly) and he took a very good route to the ball.
